About Me

Christopher Berg is the COO of FlexTC, a construction firm specializing in semi-permanent and modular facilities support in the premium event and disaster relief sectors. Chris serves as the CEO’s primary advisor and leads the execution of the company’s operational business plan and administrative activities. Chris completed his SOTF Fellowship in 2024.

Prior to his current role, Chris served for almost 28 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in December 2023.  In his most recent posting prior to retirement, Chris served as the Dean of Students at the Air War College and Special Operations Chair at Air University.  During his career, he had the privilege of commanding at multiple levels, both in garrison and deployed, leading both forces in the conduct of special operations and conventional combat missions in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and the Horn of Africa.  

Chris holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and graduate degrees from the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College.  Among his military awards are the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Air Medal.  Chris and Sarah, his wife of 27 years, are proud parents to three young adults and have made their home in Carrollton, Georgia.
