About Me
Keith Pritchard, Director of Development at the Special Operators Transition Foundation (SOTF), is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 34 years in uniform, 21 of which were in Special Operations.
As a SOTF Fellow alumnus himself, Keith understands first-hand the value of SOTF’s mission and is deeply committed to helping SOF veterans and their families navigate the transition to civilian life.
Over the course of his career, Keith led at multiple echelons of command in both combat and operational tours and held senior leadership roles such as Director of Afghanistan Policy and Strategy for two Secretaries of Defense and Deputy Commander of Special Operations Command North. His passion and care for people, mission, and country are evident through his experience in building trusted relationships across the Department of Defense, Interagency, and allied nations, and fuel his drive in forging those same trusted relationships with SOTF Fellows, donors, and sponsors.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University and a Master of Science from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security. He and his wife, Melissa, live in Colorado and have two grown children — Kaileen, who works for Palantir Technologies, and Connor, a Captain in Army Aviation. In his free time, you’ll find Keith in the mountains… skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his family.
