Andrew Blanchard
About Me
Andrew Blanchard is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Rockwood Capital, a U.S.-based private real estate investment firm with approximately $14.0 billion in assets under management. Since its inception, Rockwood has managed numerous funds and separate accounts on behalf of over 130 institutional investors. Over his 20+ years at Rockwood, Andrew has held a number of different responsibilities across the firm, but over the past decade, his primary role has been as a portfolio manager involved in the investment and management of multiple investment vehicles and strategies totaling over $5 billion in equity commitments. Currently, he is responsible for management and oversight of Rockwood’s value-add investment vehicles, which invest in various asset classes, including multifamily, office, life science, and mixed-use across 17 markets in the U.S. Andrew serves on various fund-level investment committees as well as the firm’s Investment Strategy & Research Committee.
Andrew earned his B.A. in managerial economics from UC Davis and an M.B.A., with an emphasis in real estate, from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Andrew began his career at Deloitte and is also a Certified Public Accountant, inactive status.
