About Me

Andrew Blanchard is a Partner and Portfolio Manager of Traditional Value-Add Real Estate at Harrison Street Asset Management, a leading global alternative investment management firm with $109 billion in assets under management across real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies.

Prior to Harrison Street Asset Management, Andrew was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Rockwood Capital, where he was responsible for management of value-add real estate strategies, and was also involved in the formation and growth of various separate account initiatives.  Over his 22-year tenure at Rockwood Capital, he participated in various capacities in the management and oversight of office, multifamily, retail, hotel, and mixed-use investments and led Rockwood’s technology leadership team.

Andrew received a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Davis and a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in real estate, from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.  Andrew began his career in the Assurance & Advisory practice of Deloitte & Touche, LLP and is also a Certified Public Accountant, inactive status.
