About Me
Austin Moore is the Chief Executive Officer of Elias Collective, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience as a U.S. Air Force Special Operations veteran and senior executive. He has founded and led multiple financial and mission-driven organizations, building platforms focused on capital stewardship, organizational growth, and long-term impact. His background spans mission-critical military leadership and executive roles across nonprofit and financial enterprises, where he has overseen strategic planning, operational execution, and organizational scaling. Austin brings deep expertise in building and leading high-performing teams, scaling mission-driven organizations, and executing complex initiatives with discipline and long-term focus.
Austin is the former CEO of the Special Operators Transition Foundation, originally serving in the SOTF as the Director of Programs after being a Fellow in the program. Austin brought over 20 years of leadership experience to both roles, having founded two nonprofit organizations and two for-profit companies in the consulting and financial services industries.
After 25 years of service, Austin retired as a Special Operations Pilot and Combat Aviation Advisor from Special Operations Command in Tampa, Florida. He held numerous leadership positions throughout his career while earning multiple awards for leadership, contributions to National Security, and airmanship. Most notably, Austin was presented the Lance P. Sijan award for exceptional leadership, JINSA’s Grateful Nation award for superior conduct in the War on Terrorism, and the AETC Well Done award for exceptional airmanship. Austin enlisted in 1997 and later commissioned in 2001 before retiring as a Colonel with over 4,250 hours of flight time as a Command Pilot.
Austin has an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, a graduate degree from Trident University (Summa Cum Laude), and was Outstanding Graduate of Air War College. In addition, he graduated from Joint and Combined Warfighting School and served as a Joint Qualified Officer. Austin retired with numerous awards and medals including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal X 4, Aerial Achievement Medal with sixteen devices, and Air Force Commendation Medal.
