Kersten Lapointe
Executive Assistant
About Me
Kersten is an Executive Assistant for the Special Operators Transition Foundation (SOTF). She serves our veterans by performing a variety of tasks to support the organization’s day-to-day operations. As a deeply passionate and dedicated civilian to the military community, she is committed to advocating for our Special Operators by sharing and supporting SOTF’s mission.
As an empathetic individual, Kersten sought to attain her bachelor’s degree with a general concentration in psychology from North Carolina State University. There, she attained multiple opportunities to work in research and data collection. Using her proficiency in data collection, she pursued her passion for helping others by working as a behavioral technician. From there, she used her background as the spouse of a Special Operator by applying her skills and knowledge to an administrative position, aligning her passions both personally and professionally.
Kersten is proud to be an active-duty military spouse of an AFSOC Combat Controller. They lovingly share three children. As a pillar to her spouse and her family, she demonstrates her commitment to her country and our Special Operators. Through her own experience, Kersten is motivated by SOTF’s mission as she understands the deep impact it can have on our Special Operators and their families.
